Welcome to vanlife. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and its van conversion guides (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Educational use only
All content—articles, diagrams, checklists, and downloads—is provided for general educational purposes. It describes one way to approach a van conversion and is not professional engineering, electrical, gas-fitting, or legal advice for your specific vehicle, components, or jurisdiction. You are responsible for verifying that any method you follow is safe and legal where you live.
2. Build at your own risk
Van conversions involve real hazards: electrical fire, gas leaks, carbon monoxide, structural failure of beds and cabinets, and injury from power tools. You accept full responsibility for your own safety and the safety of passengers. Where local law requires certified installation or inspection (commonly for fixed gas and 240V/mains systems), you agree to use a qualified professional.
3. Acceptable use
- You may read, print, and share links to our guides for personal, non-commercial use.
- You may quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link back to the original article.
- You may not republish full articles, sell our content, or scrape the Site to train models or populate another website without written permission.
